Sonas Blog
Sonas is our Early Intervention ASD class, suitable for children 3-6years with an ASD diagnosis. We have 2 classes with 6 pupils in each class. Their class teacher is assisted by 2 Special Needs Assistants (SNAs). These classrooms are in the newer section of our school. These purpose-built classrooms include a multi-sensory room & quiet rooms which open out to a soft playground area.
Buddy group with Chatty kids
Chatty kids class have joined us for some extra playtime on Fridays. We enjoyed playing dinky cars on the slide, cars and trucks on the mat and some babies and dolls in their cots!
Sonas trip to the Playground
Sonas class enjoyed a walk to the playground this week, we particularly enjoyed the swings and sliding fast down the slide! A lovely morning in the autumn sun!

Green Flag for Global Citizenship- Litter and Waste
We were awarded our `6th Green flag for Global Citizenship focusing on Litter and Waste. We travelled to Kilkenny for our award ceremony. Well done to Ms. McNulty and Ms. Madden and all our Green schools committee.
Active School’s Committee
Our Active School's Committee were busy designing crazy golf courses and trying them out at break today. Second class had a go too.
Feel Good Friday
As part of our Wellbeing every Friday we have "Feel good Friday" where we play music on the yard.
Our April Assembly
Well done to all our pupils that received Principal's Awards and kindness awards for the month of April.
Visit from Nenagh Tidy Towns
Nuala Kennedy, Chair of Nenagh Tidy Towns, along with Mary and Martin Langton, met with some of our Green Schools Committee to discuss working together in the future. Martin brought along the bronze medal awarded to Nenagh Tidy Towns.
