Winter Art in Nurture
The image of the snowman used is taken from 'The Snowman'. The children enjoyed designing the hat and scarf for their snowman. They painted the background and then cut out their snowman and stuck it to the background.

Well done to Mrs. Harte's Senior Infants 2024/2025 on been awarded Gold for all their hard work while taking part in AgriAware's Incredible Edibles. A special thank you to Ms. Madden who led the programme.
November Assembly

Cvc work in 1st class
Ms. McNulty was doing cvc work with her literacy group from1st class. The children had fun completing this cut and paste activity. Firstly they sounded out the words and wrote the words to help them when it came to the gluing activity.

The shaving foam acted in the same way a cloud would. The children took turns to add the blue water. When the shaving foam was unable to hold any more the blue water dropped down into the clear water.

The children enjoyed creating a rain cloud in a jar. First we discussed the water cycle and that when the cloud cannot hold any more water it falls as rain. Just like a sponge when it soaks up water.
