Chatty Kids Class loved taking part in some science experiments for Science Week 2025.
1. We made rainbows with Skittles.
2. We watched how jelly babies change when placed in water.
3. We explored the difference between still and sparking water. We saw that raisins dance in water when the gas makes the raisins rise & fall in the water. Our predictions included some explosive results, so we wore our safety goggles and hat to keep us safe. Luckily they were not needed.
4. We saw how bread soda reacts when mixed with vinegar.
5. We had some explosive results when we added some mentos to Diet Coke.
