Celebrating Ms Gavin! Our longest serving member of staff Deirdre Gavin retired last Friday. She will be truly missed in Nenagh CNS and remembered by all she taught throughout her career at St Mary’s Junior Boys and Nenagh CNS. Ms Gavin has always been keen to try new initiatives, passionate about literacy development and supporting children with English as an additional language. Her energy and enthusiasm will be missed by pupils and staff alike. A friend, a mentor to all and a fantastic leader in our school, we will all miss her! And not forgetting her surprise bakes in the staffroom. Best wishes to Deirdre on her retirement, we hope you have continued health, happiness and ample opportunity to travel the world with your bicycle and runners to hand.
