Ms. McNulty registered our school for the Incredible Edibles Programme. This programme encourages us to get busy sowing, growing, cooking and eating fruit, vegetables and herbs through a hands-on and engaging learning experience.
We started the programme this week in Mrs. Harte’s classroom. We are learning all about the origins of food. Jennifer our SNA came in to talk to us about her hens. We learned about what the hens eat and where they sleep. As part of our project work we learned all about processed and unprocessed foods. Our project work was to bring in a label of something processed and something unprocessed. We brought in lots of labels from home.
