Thank you to Niall and Kenny from Nenagh Fire Station who did a fire safety talk with third class last week.
They showed us their pagers that beep loudly when there is an emergency and they must get to the station within a few minutes. They highlighted how important it is to know your Eircode. They showed us a smoke alarm and how to test it and advised us not to charge devices at night time. We got to see their breathing apparatus and thermal imaging camera too. It was such a fantastic and informative talk. Well done to the class who had lots of questions for the fire officers .
