4th Class Library visit about bees
4th Class went to the library on Thursday as part of Biodiversity Week. We learned about the importance of bees in society and the need to protect them. We also made our own candles using wax sheets and beeswax.
Green Flag for Global Citizenship- Litter and Waste
We were awarded our `6th Green flag for Global Citizenship focusing on Litter and Waste. We travelled to Kilkenny for our award ceremony. Well done to Ms. McNulty and Ms. Madden and all our Green schools committee.
Active School’s Committee
Our Active School’s Committee were busy designing crazy golf courses and trying them out at break today. Second class had a go too.
Feel Good Friday
As part of our Wellbeing every Friday we have “Feel good Friday” where we play music on the yard.
