Senior infants really enjoyed our maths chats table quiz. We drew a friend for our maths friend Mattie. He had Maths eyes and the number 6.

Autumnal Art in Nurture
The children drew around their arm and hand. They painted it brown, cut around it and stuck it down to form the tree trunk and bare branches. They then dabbed autumn colours on using cotton buds to create autumn leaves.

As part of our Active school we are taking part in the " Skip around the World " challenge. We started off with rope free activities today using our hula hoops.
Wednesday Walk
Chatty kids class were learning the difference between numbers and letters this week, so we went on a number hunt for our Wednesday Walk. Look at all the numbers we found on our walk.
Coding in Senior infants
Senior infants got an introduction to coding today. We got to use the chromebooks for the first time and we got an introduction to scratch junior. We were able to pick our sprite and background. We had great fun.
Chess in 2nd class
2nd class have started to learn chess this year and are really enjoying the challenge.
