4th Class learned about school in the 1940’s-1960’s in History this week. Mr. Cronin (Miss Cronin’s Dad) visited the class to talk about school when he was a child.
We learned about his favourite teacher, (Mr Rearden) going home at lunchtime to eat his favourite dinner (‘pandy’) and writing with chalk on the blackboard while the turf fire warmed his legs! Josh thanked him on behalf of the class for coming to visit.
